What is Shadow Work?

Shadow Work is about healing. Healing those emotions that have been repressed within us for so long.

Through Shadow Work you will learn to accept yourself, by discovering your true being, including the dark side that we all have and that we tend to hide and repress.

Every trauma we have experienced continues to affect our daily lives, our relationships and our energy, creating blocks.

Since we were little we are asked to repress anger, shame, sadness, just to avoid appearing weak, and to be accepted by society, creating other blocks.

Shadow Work helps us precisely into recognizing, addressing and removing these blocks.

Shadow Work also means looking at some of the emotional baggage that we don't even realize we are carrying and are still affected by, as we've shoved it down deep within us.

What is the benefit of doing shadow work?

Every shadow also has a positive side, and the goal of Shadow Work is to find for that hidden positivity, reframe it around yourself as an adult and actually heal and acknowledge it, so that you can finally move forward.

We ourselves are the only ones who will always be with us, so it's always good to take time for yourself, to try to heal the wounds and become a better person so you can feel good about yourself.

How to do Shadow Work?

First, meditate even for just 10 minutes a day, quiet your thoughts and listen to those emotions that have remained hidden for so many years.

Start your Shadow Work Journey with this notebook where you will find 20 questions you can freely answer to in order to help you get familiar with your true essence and eliminate the blocks you’ve built.

After these 20 questions you will find a journal to be filled out daily, ideally in the evening.
Take 5-10 minutes to evaluate your day, ask yourself questions about the people, words and events of the day which have bothered you, and analyze your emotions and reactions.

End the daily journal by identifying 3 things to be thankful for.

The journal lasts for 60 days, but we recommend that you continue your journey as long as you feel the need to.
Remember, this journal is a safe place, you can express yourself however you want, and what matters is that you do it.
