Astrological Tarot Spread

How to begin

Enter one clear question if you want the spread to focus on a particular issue. You can ask about relationships, work, money, direction, personal growth or another area of life.

You can also leave the question open for a complete zodiac reading. In that case, all twelve life areas are read together as one broad picture.

How the zodiac wheel works

The spread uses twelve positions arranged around the zodiac wheel. Each position combines a zodiac sign with a specific life area.

Read the cards around the circle rather than as an unrelated list. Changes in one area often affect several other positions.

1 — Aries: Self and Identity

Aries begins the wheel with self, identity, initiative, confidence and personal direction. This card shows how you are approaching life and what is shaping your sense of self now.

2 — Taurus: Money and Values

Taurus focuses on money, possessions, stability, priorities and self-worth. This card can show how you relate to security, resources and what you consider truly valuable.

3 — Gemini: Communication

Gemini reflects communication, learning, messages, ideas, everyday movement and the exchange of information. This card can show what needs to be said, understood or reconsidered.

4 — Cancer: Home and Foundations

Cancer focuses on home, family, emotional foundations, belonging and the private part of life. This position can reveal what supports your sense of safety and where deeper emotional needs are active.

5 — Leo: Love and Creativity

Leo represents romance, creativity, joy, confidence and self-expression. This card can show where you are being invited to create, love, enjoy life or express yourself more openly.

6 — Virgo: Work and Health

Virgo focuses on routines, work, responsibility, organization, wellbeing and daily habits. This position shows what may need adjustment, improvement or more consistent care.

7 — Libra: Partnerships

Libra reflects one-to-one relationships, cooperation, balance, reciprocity and important agreements. This card can show what is developing in close partnerships and where balance matters most.

8 — Scorpio: Transformation

Scorpio focuses on deep change, intimacy, shared resources, release and emotional transformation. This position can reveal what is being outgrown, intensified or changed at a deeper level.

9 — Sagittarius: Beliefs and Expansion

Sagittarius reflects beliefs, learning, travel, perspective and expansion. This card shows where your world may be opening and where a wider point of view can change your direction.

10 — Capricorn: Career and Public Life

Capricorn focuses on career, responsibility, ambition, long-term goals and public direction. This card can show where discipline, structure or a larger commitment is shaping your path.

11 — Aquarius: Hopes and Community

Aquarius represents hopes, networks, friendships, community and future-oriented goals. This position can show what you are building with others and which wider vision is becoming important.

12 — Pisces: Hidden World and Dreams

Pisces closes the wheel with intuition, dreams, rest, imagination, hidden influences and the inner world. This card can reveal what is happening beneath the visible surface and what needs deeper reflection.

Current Sky

The Current Sky panel shows the real planetary positions used at the time of the reading. It includes the Sun, Moon, Moon phase and the other planets with their zodiac signs and degrees.

These positions add live celestial context to the Tarot wheel.

Active Sky markers

When one or more planets are currently moving through a zodiac sign, that position can receive an Active Sky marker on the wheel.

The marker shows which zodiac areas are receiving stronger planetary emphasis. These positions are useful to compare with the Tarot card drawn for the same sign.

Moon phase and monthly tone

The Moon phase adds the current lunar rhythm to the reading. It can help place the spread within a broader cycle of beginning, development, culmination or release.

Upright and reversed cards

Upright cards often show energy that is easier to recognize or express. Reversed cards can show delay, resistance, internalization, imbalance or a theme that needs a different approach.

A reversed card is not automatically negative. Its meaning depends on the life area it occupies and the cards around it.

How to move around the wheel

Use the zoom controls to inspect the zodiac wheel more closely. On desktop, zoom in first and then drag the wheel. On mobile, use two fingers to zoom and move while one finger continues to scroll the page.

Use Reset view to return to the full wheel.

What to pay attention to

• Notice which Major Arcana cards appear.
• Look for repeated suits or repeated themes.
• Compare opposite zodiac areas across the wheel.
• Notice where several reversed cards appear close together.
• Pay extra attention to positions marked by the current sky.
• Compare relationship areas with career, home and personal identity.
