SHAMANISM AND THE MUSICALITY OF REALITY IN THE AGE OF ELECTRONICALLY MEDIATED INFORMATION GATHERING-HUNTING:

This text aims to state the critical determinants of the old-new religion of information, undoubtedly non-religious in monotheistic terms. The word religion means to bind (the Latin ligere)again (the Latin re-); a corresponding period is a ligament which attaches bone to bone and helps stabilise joints. The need for a religion is not new, but society now requires a new religious form for the community of electronically mediated hunting-gathering of information. This text aims to summarise and replace monotheism with all previous religious forms. The first chapter introduces the reader to basic concepts whose exploration constitutes the argument's unfolding, such as the resonance theory of consciousness, cymatics, tensegrity, fractal logic, and matter as the space of musical structure (i.e., the Möbius Strip).
