Shamanic Journey Step by Step (Shamanism)

Shamanism doesn't start in some remote place or in the hands of an initiate. It starts on your living room floor, with a drum and a moment of silence.

For centuries, the rhythmic, monotonous sound of the drum has been used to enter an altered state of consciousness and undertake what's called the shamanic journey. Today you can learn this practice in a simple, safe, and substance-free way, following a clear guide that assumes nothing and guides you step by step from the very first minute.

With warmth and rigor, Naia Bermejo teaches you a gentle, accessible method for anyone, whether or not you have prior experience. Without empty promises and with complete honesty, she accompanies you as you step through the doorway we all carry within and move through an inner landscape that, with practice, becomes as alive as it is familiar.

In this book you'll learn:

What the shamanic journey really is and why the drum opens the door to deep states without plants and without risks.
The map of the three worlds—lower, middle, and upper—and how to navigate each one.
How to prepare your space, set your intention, and make your first complete journey, step by step, with the return signal and the landing.
How to find and work with your power animal, your ally of strength and protection.
How to ascend to meet your spiritual teachers and guides.
What to do when your mind won't quiet down, when something unsettles you, or when you feel like you're not making progress.
And the big question every beginner asks: Is it real or am I just imagining it?, addressed with the honesty you deserve.

A practical, warm, and rigorous guide for anyone who's always been curious about shamanism and wants, at last, to experience it for themselves.

Pick up a drum. Lie down. The journey begins whenever you're ready.
