Lucid Dreaming: The Secret Life of Lucidity - Art & Practice
This book will change your life. Every aspect of it. Who this book is for? This book was written for the person that doesn’t want to have an occasional lucid dream, but a lifelong practice. The person that seeks to understand themselves and others on a deep level only gained by, and through, an acquaintance with their dreams. This book was written for the person who understands that as a craftsman, greatness is achieved by, and through, devotion and meditation, to cultivate an indomitable Will. This book was written for the person who will not quit. The doer. The person who desires to be more. The person who – by virtue of sheer will-power – will remove the words “I can’t” from their vocabulary. This book was written for the person who has a desire to touch the void, as a lifestyle, understand their dreams, and the dreams of others. This book was written for those who wish to learn about secret things that connect us all and take flight at night in their dreams. This book was written for those who want to live life lucidly, not only in dreams. To live lucidly. To love lucidly. This book was written for the person that wants to learn the art and practice of lucid dreaming and keep it a secret. It’s time to become original. To be clear, this book is not about the occasional, or accidental lucid dream. No, in this book, you will find the methods by which a person may practice the art of lucid dreaming. In this practice, the practitioner will learn the art of promoting lucidity. Lucidity, not only in dreams, but more importantly, in life as-well. The repair of one, repairs - quite naturally - the other. The aim of this work is to reveal the methods by which a person can lucid dream and give you access to the genus. When I write lucid dream, I mean conscious dream; let there be no confusion from this point further. I will write, ad-nauseam, to lucid dream, it is necessary to be lucid in life first. Follow the methods outlined in this work and you will lucid dream. I will call the whole package of being lucid, and its application in life, “the practice.” For those who have no desire to be lucid in life, let alone in sleep, I will call, "the sleepers." This book - The Secret Life of Lucidity – contains within its pages, the most practical, non-subjective, holistic dream work method you will find. I do not associate dreams with any spiritual experience, with any religious notions, nor with out-of-body experiences. The only treatment that will be subjective in this work is the handling of dream interpretation, as it is only the dreamer who can fully interpret their own dreams. I will not suggest the use of any drugs, plants, or any other substance to induce lucid dreaming as part of this method; drugs are not synonymous with lucidity. As stated before, this method is not for the obtaining of an occasional lucid dream, but for a lifelong practice. At the end of each chapter, I will give you a step in accomplishing lucidity. Each step is meant to build upon the other, culminating in a lifelong practice which is the goal. In most cases, but not all, the chapter and step will be related. Be sure to follow my prescriptions. Wait to be successful before changing the order of the steps, or even customizing your practice to fit who you are. Because, as you become familiar with the landscape of consciousness and dreams, you will be a master – comparatively - in your own right. Then, and only then, you can change things as you see fit.
