We were also given the "ladder to heaven" that Jacob saw in a dream before he was reconciled with his brother Essau. This ladder to heaven, on which angels ascended and descended, is the Tree of Life of Kabbalah. This tree of life is a map showing us the way back to the garden and tree in paradise. We have to work with the parts of our soul if we want to find our way home. This little exercise book contains all the secrets needed for the return. We may not be able to discuss them in public, but the soul understands them. This is why we use tarot cards as paths in Kabbalah's tree of life. In this way we can bring our thinking and feeling into line with the thinking of the universe so that we can tune in again to the symphony of the original life. To be part of this symphony is to remember paradise.
When we let our fears and other feelings surface, a new path opens up for us. This is the journey of the inner hero, which we will briefly highlight in the sections of the journey. The paths of the tarot cards connect us to the tree of life in the here and now. Walking it means building a bridge into a new present.
On this path we are invited to leave our old lives behind. We have to clean up. If we don't leave anything old behind, we can't leave, and we don't have room to leave new things in our lives. Our exercises connect the student to the universe.
